When do I have to book my entry in the guide?


The guide is an annual publication. It is on display from Easter. All bookings must be made by the end of the December to appear in the coming year’s edition.

When will I be invoiced?


Invoices will be issued on 31 December with 30 day payment terms.

What is the target market for the Where to Stay in Scotland Guide?


The guide targets independent touring visitors to Scotland. That means visitors who will be staying in more than one area, who use either private or public transport. Many visitors to Scotland take repeat visits – so the Guide can be retained by them for use in planning future breaks.

How easy it is for visitors find a copy of the guides?


Vey easy! The guide is available in prime locations throughout Scotland. The guides are on display in around 1800 outlets - everywhere that visitors go….. Including, visitor attractions, visitor accommodation, transport terminals, car hire companies, service stations, selected shops and shopping malls, and park and ride facilities.

How often do you service the leaflet display stands?


Some racks are serviced several times a week. The busier an outlet is, the more often we service it.

Please remind me, how many copies of the guide are printed?


We print and distribute 200,000 copies each year. They are displayed in bespoke stands or in Landmark Press display stands.

I don’t have a designer. Can Landmark Press design my advert for me?


Yes. We are happy to design your advertisement free of charge.

The guide must use an awful lot of paper?


We use paper from sustainably managed forests, as this is more environmentally responsible than using recycled paper. Our guides carry a message encouraging visitors to recycle - ideally by passing it on to someone else, or disposing of it in an environmentally friendly way.
